In wake of their soon to be released album “Death Magnetic”, Metallica announced its plans of a tour to the entire

Cobra Starship, the alt-rockers from New York, will hit the road during this fall to popularize “Viva La Cobra,” their studio album, which was released last year. This live entertainment group, famous for their dance pop music, will flag-off their trek from Buffalo in New York on October 7^th. The group will visit 35 venues across U.S including Webster Theater, Nokia theatre, Majestic Theatre, Beaumont Theatre, Gothic theatre, Marquee theatre etc. Many of their shows will feature rock groups like Sing it Loud, The Sickest Kids and Hit the Lights. The tickets are expected to go on sale within next two weeks.

Elton John has recently expanded his upcoming concert tour in Canada. The Superstar’s Canadian run will start from Calgary in Alberta on September 12^th. At present Elton is touring in Las Vegas with his “Red Piano” shows. This king of live entertainment has added shows at venues like Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland Nova Scotia, New Brunswick etc. The Las Vegas run of “Red Piano” will be completed by this weekend and he will return to the Caesars palace Colosseum in October. His Canadian tour will end at Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville, CT with a two night stand on 14^th and 15^th of November. Ticket sales for the Canadian concerts of Elton John have already started.

Juliana Hatfield, the singer cum songwriter from Massachusetts is planning to kickoff her fall tour from Washington DC on September 9th. Juliana Hatfield is all set to release her 10th solo album on August 19th. Through her eight city tour she will promote this new album titled” How to Walk Away”. Hatfield is also planning to release her autobiography named “When I Grow Up” by last week of September. Juliana Hatfield’s live entertainments are liked by many people as she has a very delightful and soothing voice. The ticket sales to her upcoming concerts have started from last month.

The Tantric rockers are continuing with their on going summer tour in support of their newly released album in April named “The End Begins”. They will be seen performing on the 31^st of July at Hartford’s Webster Theater and the fans here are anticipating an excellent evening of fun and music. The Tantric will be travelling from coast to coast thereafter with performances in Washington on August 1^st, New York on the 2^nd of August, New Jersey on the 4^th of August, Huntington on the 8^th of August and will close their summer jaunt with a performance at t The Pit in Kills Devils Hills on August 9^th. The popularity of the Tantric rockers will surely help in the brisk sales of tickets at these centers.

One of the greatest singers of our time, Celine Dion, will begin touring from August. Her first performance is at TD Banknorth Garden, Boston on the 12th. There are two performances there. She then moves to Bell Centre, Montréal on August 15th and performs at other locations such as Air Canada Centre, Toronto, MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods, Ledyard and Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale. All will end at Madison Square Garden, New York on September 15. Tickets are already up for sale for this event.

With the double performance of 3 Doors Down and Staind slated to be held at the New England Dodge Music Center on Friday, the fans are already lining up to see their favorite stars. With hard hitting favorites and a high octane performance, the city of Hartford is sure to be all charged up. This event is part of their 2008 touring season, and one of the many performances they are scheduled to be in together. The bands head next to Delaware to perform at the Delaware State Fair on Saturday. This is going to be a sold out concert, so fans have already got their tickets.

Rapper Ice Cube has lined up more shows for his tour including dates in the United States for August and September.  Ice Cube will be hitting up the bay area with stops at The Fillmore on August 26th in San Francisco, the Majestic Fox Theatre on August 27th in Bakersfield, the House of Blues in West Hollywood on September 1st, the Albuquerque Sunshine Theatre on September 5th and several others.  The rapper is currently touring abroad and does not return to the states until late-August where he is set to perform in Seattle Washington at the Showbox at the Market.  Tickets have been going fast for the rapper and fans are happy about the added dates in more of their home United States areas.

“The Kooks”, the pop-rockers from U.K, is returning to U.S for an extensive North American tour during this fall. The group is scheduled to start their outing in U.S on September 4^th from Clinton, New York. The Kooks are publicizing their record “konk” which was released this April. The members of this band are in the early 20 age group and were brought together by a college project. The band’s North American tour will wind up with the performance at the Hollywood Palladium in California on October 28^th. The ticket sales to the general public for U.S jaunt started on June 27^th and the tickets are in heavy demand.
