ZZ Top the famous trio band from Texas is re-releasing their largest–selling album “eliminator” on 25th of March 2008. This album was earlier released in the year 1983 and the latest edition will be in the form of CD/DVD for convenience and clarity. The CD will include songs from “Legs”, “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Gimme all Your Lovin” and other famous tracks by the group. The DVD will contain five live performances of the band which was at first broadcasted on “The Tube”, a popular music program in Britain.
ZZ Top band was formed in the year 1969 and has retained its original members even after 30 years. The trio musicians in this group are Hill, Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard. Their latest studio album is “Mescalero” released in 2003 and in 2004 they released “Rancho Texicano” a collection of ZZ top’s hits. This successful band was entered in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in UK in 2004. This summer ZZ top is going for a round of performances in music festivals to celebrate the re-release of “Eliminator”. They are planning to perform in the College Station in Texas in April and are scheduled to do more than 14 shows in June and August.

The very popular UK pop artist and songwriter, Kate Nash is all set to rock North America in her forth coming tour during the spring season. The Kate Nash tour is in collaboration with the popular British music magazine NME and is set to take off in America on the 15th of April at Atlanta. Kate Nash is to tour from coast to coast across America and finally will land up in Toronto and Vancouver by mid may. She will be performing in Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Asheville, Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, Portland, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Boulder in North America.

The UK pop diva is currently on a tour of Europe and is the proud recipient of the Best British Female Artist at the recently concluded Brit Awards. The singer has created quite a huge fan following all across the globe after her debut album “Made of Bricks” debuted at the 36th position in the Billboard 200 last month. The album speaks of her personal and charming life and the way that she has conceived the concept has been appreciated well both by her critics as well as her fans. The 20 year old star is all set to premiere her next single “Pumpkin Soup” on the 26th of February on MTV’s TRL.

The pop diva Britney Spears, who has been in the wrong end of the news lately, had spent about three hours with her sons, Preston and Jayden last Saturday. As the lawyers of Spears and Kevin Federline, her husband, had come up with an agreement on the visitation last Friday, Britney Spears was able to spend some valuable time with her two sons. Britney Spears met her two children Preston aged 2 years and Jayden aged one year after almost two months as she had last met them on Jan 3rd.

It is reported that Kevin Federline had put the car seats for the boys and were driven by Kevin’s bodyguard from their father’s Tarzana house on Saturday morning to the house of their mother, Studio City. It is been reported that it was Britney spear’s father, Jamie who had taken charge of the entire visitation case from Spear’s side and was instrumental for the mother to meet her kids. The boys, even though too small to understand the happenings around them, might have enjoyed the company of their mother. It is believed that Spear’s father, Jamie, as well as her psychiatrist were with her for the entire three hours she had spent with her lovely children.

Elton John, the versatile singer, is all set to join Mary J Blige for a duet song on the post Oscar party event organized by the great singer. The superstar singer along with J Blige will entertain the fans on the Elton’s AIDS Foundation bash that is conducted annually in a bid to raise awareness and funds for the fight against AIDS and HIV. The event is to take place right after the Academy Awards ceremony on the 24th of February 2008. J. Blige said that she is pretty happy to be associated with Elton John for a good cause and she considers him as one of the most inspirational musicians of the music industry.

Elton in 1999 had played the piano for Mary J. Blige hit single “Deep Inside” and so this is not the first time that Mary will be performing along with Elton John. He has been conducting the annual Oscar party for the past 15 years and has materialized an amount of more than $15 million for his foundation so far. The singer Mary J Blige is also an intense supporter for awareness of AIDS and is looking forward to perform with the musical genius at the Los Angeles Kodak Theater.

The famous Bollywood Film producer Sajid Nadiadwala has signed the stars Beyonce and Arnold Schwarzenegger from Hollywood to do roles in his new venture “Kambakth Ishq”. Sajid is ready to roll the cameras for this magnum opus in May at Los Angeles under the directorship of Sabir Khan. Arnold the macho man will play the role of a cameo and Beyonce, the pop sensation is an added attraction for the film along with the Indian pairs Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. Sajid is yet to make a formal announcement about the film and he is busy with the pre production work. Sajid wants his production banner Nadiadwala Grandsons to go global and scale new heights.

Beyonce who became famous with the music performance of Destiny’s Child is a successful screen star in Hollywood. She is an ardent fan of Bollywood films as well as Aishwarya Rai and is happy to be involved with the Bollywood film industry. She thinks that “Indian films are very colorful”. Arnold was put into the super star category of Hollywood after the success of the first Terminator film. The Arnold and Beyonce fans in India are waiting for the film to be released. Madonna, the famous singer and actor, has now donned on the director’s hat with her new 30 minute short film named Filth and Wisdom. Madonna’s latest offering talks about the story of three friends looking for a brighter and bigger future. Madonna in an interview said that she was happy to be behind the camera and did not need to worry about make up or hair style or wardrobe. Madonna, who unveiled her film at the Berlin film festival, said that the movie is about two things in life: duality and the struggle due to the duality and hence she named the film as Filth and Wisdom.

The main character in the film is played by the New York Gypsy band “Gogol Bordello’s” lead singer Eugene Hutz. All the characters in this film leads a double life and as the director has been trying to figure out the people’s idea of sex all through her life, this film also threads on a similar path. The cast comprises of unknown faces and Madonna says that it is easy to work with people who are unknown and who are not so busy. The film has not gone well with the critics and they feel that it is better for Madonna to continue with her day job and that’s singing.

Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16 year old sister of the very popular pop star Britney Spears and central character in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, has sent shockwaves all over the entertainment fraternity by announcing on December 18th that she is twelve weeks pregnant. The Nickelodeon show which she is acting is currently showing the third season and there is no worry about this recent announcement to the Nickelodeon think tank as they have already finished recording the fourth season. There has been lot of media attention to this shocking revelation and many feel that even though it was bad for her to get pregnant, the fact that she has decided to keep the baby has somewhat redeemed her.

The Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appreciated the decision taken by Jamie and advised people of the same age group not to choose this course of action. Lisa Wechel, who played the role of Blair in Facts of Life, a TV show, had words of encouragement for the TV star and said that Jamie was very courageous and she has been a good role model in choosing to have the baby. There have been reports that the pregnant teen is contemplating on moving to Los Angeles to live with her father but is treading the troubled path taken by her celebrity big sister.

Britney Spears in the news recently for all the controversies surrounding her pregnancy and rehabilitation is now set to get her life back on track. Having a total redo on her hair was the first step taken by her towards changing into the earlier Britney Spears that her fans have loved and admired. It is reported that Britney Spears hired the celebrity hairstylist Kim Vo to work on her hair in order to make it longer and sexy. According to Kim Vo, Britney was very cooperative for the four hour hair redo session and he helped her to fix her long hair and added caramel colored streaks to her dark brown hair.

It was the first time that this famous celebrity hair stylist was asked to work on Britney’s hair and even though Kim visited her California home the day after her release from the Los Angeles Psychiatric ward, she was found to be very calm and the home atmosphere was very peaceful. Britney Spears and her mother were very happy with the new look and appreciated the hair colorist for the job well done. Hopefully, for all the patient Britney Spear fans, she will get over all her problems and come back to the limelight even more focused than before.

Kirsten Dunst is now in rehab at the Cirque Lodge Clinic in Sundance, Utah. According to reports, she was the one who checked herself in, and she was said to be in tears when she got there. Her reason for going there is still not known, although it seems that it was done after a week of heavy partying at the recent Sundance Film Festival.

The Spider-Man star was apparently seen dancing, partying, and having a great time with a large group of friends. The next day, however, she was not able to show up in her Glamour magazine party. A source for Star magazine recounted that Dunst looked like she was intoxicated upon reaching the Lodge because her behavior was erratic. The young actress is the third high-profile celebrity to check in at the Lodge in the past few months.

Dunst is presently shooting her next film ‘How to Lose Friends & Alienate People’ with Simon Pegg and Megan Fox. The film is based on Toby Young’s memoirs. She was only 12 when she starred in ‘Interview with the Vampire’ with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. She is famous for her role as Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker’s love interest in the Spider-Man movie series.
