Aimee Mann to enter second leg of tour

Aimee Mann who started the North American tour on June 2nd and did many shows in festivals and other concert venues is at present having a short break. She will return to the second leg of her tour on July 9th. This multi- talented celebrity will visit some of the cities in Northern U.S and Canada by mid-September. During this tour she will support her new effort named “@#%&! Smilers” released on June 3rd. The general admission tickets to her shows are very affordably priced for the convenience of the fans. The thirteen tracks in Smilers are really different as the distorted Wurlitzer’s are used instead of electric guitars.

The Alarm’s “Rocking the Colonies tour”

The popular alternative rock band from the 80’s, “The Alarm” is launching their U.S tour named “Rockin’ the Colonies” on July 10th in Washington, DC. The tour will also feature some of the other punk bands from UK like “the English Beat” and The Fixx.  The Alarm will support their new album “Guerilla Tactics” which will hit the music stores on July 8th. This album has biographical content as it is about the struggle of Singer Mike Peters against Leukemia. The English beat and the Fixx are going to support their best-of albums through this tour. The tickets for this tour that will end on August 1st are on sale and the general admission tickets costs U.S $30.

Candlebox’s summer trek continues into September

The Candlebox rock group is currently on tour of United States in support of their forthcoming album “Into the Sun” and reports are that this record will hit the stores come July 22. The rock band will be performing some tracks from this forthcoming record during their live shows this spring and summer. Their tour trek has kicked off on June 13 and will liven up from the fag end of June through till middle of September. The details of the concerts with the dates, venue and time are made available on the band’s official website. Candlebox fans will be rushing to buy their tickets to witness the band entertain them when the group travels to their part of the town.

Flogging Molly will be flocking all over US this summer

The members of the Irish rockers band Flogging Molly will be undertaking a series of live performances all over the Northern parts of America during the months of September and October. Their live entertainment is set to roll over at the Asylum in Portland on September 12 and will conclude on October 24 with a performance at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas. The sale of tickets to these concerts will begin from June 21. Flogging Molly are slated to cover places like Philadelphia, Houston, Charlotte, Sacramento in US and cities like Vancouver and British Columbia in Canada.

Coldplay’s North American tour delayed by two weeks

Coldplay will be kick starting their “Viva La Vida” North American tour after two weeks as against their original planned date of June 29 in

Philadelphia owing to some unexplained production problems. Now, their summer tour will commence on 14 July with a performance at Los Angeles and the tour will conclude with a performance in

Boston
on August 4. Coldplay will be undertaking an international tour in the early part of October. They will be coming up with a fresh round of North American fall tour as well. A special rollicking performance is expected by the fans who had bought tickets for Coldplay ’s live entertainment in their cities.

Madonna expands her tour plans

The pop diva Madonna has announced a two month North American trek of her “Sticky and Sweet” tour during the months of October and November. The North American leg is slated to begin on the 4th of October in East Rutherford, New Jersey and will trek across all major cities of Canada and U.S before culminating at the Dolphin Stadium in Miami on the 26th of November. The North American tour announcement comes in the wake of sell out of tickets in many concert venues. Fans are eagerly waiting to catch the live entertainment that their pop idol will be presenting to them when she will perform in their parts of the woods.

Okkervil River to tour after September

Okkervil River, the well known Indie -Folk Rockers are planning a tour during fall, after the release of their fifth studio album in September. Okkervil River will support their new release “The Stand Ins” through out the tour. This Texas based band will start the tour from Lawrence, KS on September 12. The group will visit more than 22 countries within one month. This live- entertainment band will visit Kansas City, Vancouver, California, Orlando, Los Angeles, New York and Canada and will wind up the tour on 12 October. The ticket sales for the tour are expected to start within this month.

Ashlee Simpson announces one month tour

The newly married and pregnant 23 year old blonde Ashlee Simpson will be undertaking a one month tour of America in support of her new album “Bittersweet World”. Simpson is happy to hit the roads to promote her new album despite her busy marriage life and will kick start her tour with a performance in Chicago on June 9. She is also slated to perform live at Cleveland, Florida, New York and New Jersey and will conclude her tour with a fun filled entertaining performance at Capital One Bank Theater in New Jersey on July 1. Any die hard fan of Ashlee Simpson will be by now queuing at the ticket counters to book their tickets for the live event.
