Secondhand Serenade Extends Headlining Tour

John Vesely, also know as Secondhand Serenade, has added another round of dates to the summer tour in support of his sophomore release, “A Twist In My Story”. Vesley, who’s performed as a solo artist since 2005 but added a full band for this trek, will wrap the first leg of his journey with an August 31 appearance at The Allentown Fair in Pennsylvania. Joining the singer on the bill for the show are Simple Plan and Metro Station. After a short break, the next round of shows kicks off September 13 at Thunder Mountain Amphitheatre in Loveland, Colo. Other destinations include Austin, Los Angeles, N.Y. and Kansas.

Metallica to tour North America

In wake of their soon to be released album “Death Magnetic”, Metallica announced its plans of a tour to the entire

North America and

Canada
. This is the group’s first release in 5 years. The group had posted a message on their website saying that after the completion of ’Death Magnetic’ they were ready for an indoor arena tour to show appreciation for their fans. The tour is supposed to kick off in late October and will cover around 30 cities by end of January. According to the official site, the platinum members will get their shot at the tickets first. “Death Magnetic” is supposed to hit the stores on September 12th on Friday which has been the unconventional release day adopted by the band for all its albums.

Cobra Starship ready for the “Sassy Tour”

Cobra Starship, the alt-rockers from New York, will hit the road during this fall to popularize “Viva La Cobra,” their studio album, which was released last year. This live entertainment group, famous for their dance pop music, will flag-off their trek from Buffalo in New York on October 7th. The group will visit 35 venues across U.S including Webster Theater, Nokia theatre, Majestic Theatre, Beaumont Theatre, Gothic theatre, Marquee theatre etc. Many of their shows will feature rock groups like Sing it Loud, The Sickest Kids and Hit the Lights. The tickets are expected to go on sale within next two weeks.

Elton adds new dates to his Canadian tour

Elton John has recently expanded his upcoming concert tour in Canada. The Superstar’s Canadian run will start from Calgary in Alberta on September 12th. At present Elton is touring in Las Vegas with his “Red Piano” shows. This king of live entertainment has added shows at venues like Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland Nova Scotia, New Brunswick etc. The Las Vegas run of “Red Piano” will be completed by this weekend and he will return to the Caesars palace Colosseum in October. His Canadian tour will end at Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville, CT with a two night stand on 14th and 15th of November. Ticket sales for the Canadian concerts of Elton John have already started.
