Metallica to tour North America

In wake of their soon to be released album “Death Magnetic”, Metallica announced its plans of a tour to the entire

North America and

Canada. This is the group’s first release in 5 years. The group had posted a message on their website saying that after the completion of ’Death Magnetic’ they were ready for an indoor arena tour to show appreciation for their fans. The tour is supposed to kick off in late October and will cover around 30 cities by end of January. According to the official site, the platinum members will get their shot at the tickets first. “Death Magnetic” is supposed to hit the stores on September 12th on Friday which has been the unconventional release day adopted by the band for all its albums.
