Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16 year old sister of the very popular pop star Britney Spears and central character in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, has sent shockwaves all over the entertainment fraternity by announcing on December 18th that she is twelve weeks pregnant. The Nickelodeon show which she is acting is currently showing the third season and there is no worry about this recent announcement to the Nickelodeon think tank as they have already finished recording the fourth season. There has been lot of media attention to this shocking revelation and many feel that even though it was bad for her to get pregnant, the fact that she has decided to keep the baby has somewhat redeemed her.

The Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appreciated the decision taken by Jamie and advised people of the same age group not to choose this course of action. Lisa Wechel, who played the role of Blair in Facts of Life, a TV show, had words of encouragement for the TV star and said that Jamie was very courageous and she has been a good role model in choosing to have the baby. There have been reports that the pregnant teen is contemplating on moving to Los Angeles to live with her father but is treading the troubled path taken by her celebrity big sister.

Britney Spears’s parents are worried about their daughter’s health and her mind. Though they always support their daughter. After the court has forbidden Spears to see and meet her two baby boys at all, Britney tries to escape using some kinds of drugs and alcohol. The singer is depressed. Though she is often seen  with her new boyfriend. Every day the singer is followed by lots of paparazzi who hunt for exclusive photos of Briney, because the mother of two can appear almost with no clothes or drunk. Such things have already happened many times. And it’s clear as mud why Brit keeps being so nasty if she wants to get her boys back.
