Led Zeppelin have played their first concert for more than 19 years, lasting about two hours, before nearly 20,000 fans in London. They opened the concert with Good Times Bad Times, the first track on the first album, then the greatest hits were played: Black Dog, Dazed and Confused, and finally after more than an hour, the legendary Stairway to Heaven. More than one million people took part in a secret ballot for the 9,000 pairs of tickets available for Monday’s show. Plant told the fans that the reunion had meant a lot to the group members.

Led Zeppelin Concert Put Back

Led Zeppelin’s concert that was originally scheduled for the end of November, has been postponed for 2 weeks after the band’s guitarist Jimmy Page broke a finger. The gig, at the O2 Arena was originally scheduled for November 26 but will now be held on December 10. Jimmy Page injured his finger last weekend and he was advised not to play guitar for a couple of weeks. Page himself said he was disappointed the band was forced to postpone the concert. The musicians said that all tickets for the November 26 show would be valid for the rescheduled show.
