NFL Preview: Giants at Detroit
A pair of National Football Conference playoff hopefuls attempting to rebound from disappointing losses will go head-to-head on Sunday at Detroit’s Ford Field, where the surprising Detroit Lions host the NY Giants. The New York Giants vaulted themselves into the postseason mix by ripping off 6 consecutive wins following an 0-2 start. While last week’s loss became a serious blow to the New York Giants’ hopes of claiming the division title, the team currently is in control of one of the conference’s 2 wild card berths with a 6-3 record
Can the New England Patriots go undefeated this year?
After the Patriots defeated the Dallas Cowboys 48-27 they remain one of the only two teams that are undefeated in the NFL. Their biggest rivalrys the Indinapolis Colts are the only other remaining undefeated team in the NFL. They will battle it out in Indy on November 4th. If the Patriots pull off this victory they have a great opportunity to go undefeated the rest of the year. They face the Dolphins and Redskins before hand but their true test will be gaianst Manning and the Colts offense.
