Police reports about Britney Spears was under the influence when being taken to Cedars Sinai are false. All tests came back negative. Her blood test showed that it was clean. So all magazines’ reports that Britney took drugs were wrong.

Tarja Turunen is the exceptionally gifted Finnish vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who became famous as part of multi-platinum, symphonic metal band Nightwish. Recently Tarja has abandoned the band to start her own solo career, and she started it with a wildly-anticipated solo debut My Winter Storm. Jimmy Heath is a lifelong small-group player with a passion for big groups. Heath 1st wrote on his own in ‘47 in Philadelphia. Then, Jimmy played in Dizzy Gillespie’s band in ‘49 and ‘50. The other alto player in that big group was Jimmy’s cohort John Coltrane, from Philadelphia as well. Before Jimmy played in Gillespie’s big band, so did James Moody. He was also a guest on the show. It was a constructive experience for both saxophonists. Jimmy confessed he still thinks about Gillespie every day.

I wanted my first comment about a live event to be about Bruce Springsteen.  The Boss is on tour this fall with his band the E Street Band promoting their newest Album “Magic” The tour kicked off in Hartford CT and will end in Boston Ma before they go to Europe.  I will be attending the show at the United Center.  From the reviews Ive read so far I think that this will be a great show.  The hardest working man in show business did a full set at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ and did an encore of 5 songs including fan favorite “Born to Run”.  This should be a great show and Im looking forward to it!
